I have great pleasure to express the following few lines about our Sir Dr. M. S. Gosavi College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Nashik.
On the inspiration of Namdar Gopal Krishna Gokhale, Prin. T. A. Kulkarni founded the Society on 19th February 1918, which bears the name “Gokhale Education Society.”
Thereafter, the creative leadership of Sir Dr. M. S. Gosavi, Secretary and Director General, and Prin. S. B. Pandit, President, has enriched Gokhale Education Society qualitatively and quantitatively, encompassing educational levels by starting 120 Schools, Junior/Senior Colleges, Research Centers, etc. Endorsing its motto “Above Self Above Politics,” the Society is venturing ahead with admirable adaptability in the field of education. And now, Dr. Mrs. D. P. Deshpande, Secretary & Treasurer, G. E. Society, Dr. R. P. Deshpande, President & Jt. Treasurer, G. E. Society, and the Office Bearers of G. E. Society are following the same path engraved by them.
Sir Dr. M. S. Gosavi College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research is one of the leading colleges among the existing colleges of the G. E. Society.

It has become a matter of pride for the Society that the College has received awards every year, either academic or non-academic. Even in pandemic COVID-19, Pune University declared 2nd Prize to “Spectrum 2020” Annual Magazine in the professional section in Nashik.
The Mission & Vision of the College is to develop the holistic personality of learners and enable teachers to be quality professionals to support, healthcare system of our country and to have active participation in drug discovery and innovative formulations for challenging emerging diseases and disorders. The mission of the College is to provide excellent educational training to students and to train quality pharmacists and healthcare professionals.
The College has well-qualified and trained faculty with state-of-the-art infrastructure, fully equipped and well-furnished classrooms with audio-visual aids, faculty rooms, seminar halls, tutorial rooms, common rooms, playground, gymkhana, and hostel facilities. The College organizes student-centric seminars to promote higher studies and conducts special classes for communication and soft skills development. The College also encourages students to participate in inter-pharmacy college cultural and sports competitions.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Principal Dr. S. V. Amrutkar and his team of teaching and non-teaching staff for growing the Pharmacy College to a benchmark level.
