Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prevent sexual harassment by promoting a safe and gender-sensitive environment.
- Create awareness through workshops, notices, and sensitization programs.
- Receive and address complaints of sexual harassment with confidentiality.
- Conduct fair, impartial, and time-bound inquiry into complaints.
- Provide counselling, support, and recommend interim relief to the complainant if needed.
- Submit inquiry reports with recommendations for disciplinary or corrective action.
- Maintain records, ensure confidentiality, and submit annual reports to the Head of Institution/statutory bodies.
